Title:
INPUT AND OUTPUT CONTROLLER FOR MICROCOMPUTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61114361
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the accurate transmission of signals without virtually increasing the number of component parts by turning on and off a switching element with the control signal given from a 1-chip microcomputer and switching an input/output port to an input or output port. CONSTITUTION:Fixed terminals 3A1-3D1 at one side of input/output switches 3A-3D are connected to input/output ports R1-R4 of a 1-chip microcomputer 1A. While fixed terminals 3A2-3D2 at the other side are connected in common to each other. A switching transistor TR5 is turned on and off with the control signal delivered from the computer 1A. The TR5 supplies the signals of H or L levels to the terminals 3A2-3D2. Thus the ports R1-R4 are switched to input or output ports.
