Title:
INPUT PEN FOR ULTRASONIC DIGITIZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03137972
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To output vibration to a propagation medium from a head part under always constant writing pressure by turning a switch means ON when the head part is pushed in against the elastic force of an energizing means and the writing pressure of the head part reaches a predetermined value to output vibration to a propagation medium from the head part.

CONSTITUTION: When a head part 1 is pressed to a propagation medium 16, for example, when the writing pressure of the head part 1 reaches a predetermined value, a vibration element 4 is pushed in a case 6 against the elastic force of an energizing means 7 and a switch means 8 is turned ON to make it possible to output the vibration generated in a piezoelectric vibrator 3 to the head part 1. Therefore, when vibration is outputted from the head part 1 to the propagation medium 16, constant writing pressure is applied to the head part 1 by the energizing means 7 or constant contact pressure is thereby applied between the head part 1 and the propagation medium 16 and the propagation waveform in the propagation medium 16 is stabilized to make it possible to increase the accuracy of the delay time of a vibration wave.
