To provide an input switching apparatus capable of being made compact, an input switchover method, and a program.
A resistance is placed in between a signal input line connected to a connector terminal, corresponding to one plug terminal to which a predetermined input device is connected, among a plurality of connector terminals, disposed on a connector corresponding to a multipolar plug, and a voltage power supply line for supplying the input device with a voltage via the signal input line, and a detecting means for detecting whether to connect in the multipolar plug by the variations by voltage in the signal input line is connected to the signal input line. In addition, an opening switch is provided between a connecting point in the voltage power supply line side of the resistance and a voltage-adjusting resistance disposed on the voltage power supply line, and a control means for controlling the opening switch so as to close the opening switch, after the detection of the connection of the multipole plug by the detecting means is provided.
