A detection validation switch 32 is arranged in the main body 12 of a digital camera 10. when the camera body 12 is operated with the prescribed movement/attitude in a state where the detection validation switch 32 is depressed (ON state), instructions corresponding to the movement/attitude are inputted. In a state where the detection validation switch 32 is released (OFF state), the operation input by the movement/attitude of the camera main body 12 is invalid.
