To provide an insecticidal solution stably expressing insect pest control effects for a long time by heating by installing the same in biotope of the insect pests, and an insecticidal method.
The insecticidal solution is prepared by dissolving a pyrethrum extract and a phenol-based antioxidant in a straight chain hydrocarbon or a branched chain hydrocarbon having 200-300°C temperature of 50% off. The insecticidal solution is stably transpired by soaking a part of a porous liquid absorbent wick in the insecticidal solution and heating the unsoaked part of the wick while allowing the insecticidal solution to be absorbed into the wick. The insecticidal solution can decrease the used amount of the effective components from the standpoint of its effect without using materials suspicious to have influences to human bodies and the environment.
