Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an insect-proofing agent to be used in composting garbage using a relevant vessel, and to provide a usage of this agent.
CONSTITUTION: This insect-proofing agent can be obtained by blending a specified amount of a cellulose-based compound with an insectproofing agent prepared by adding, as necessary, a small amount of an insecticide to p- dichlorobenzene followed by shaping. This insect-proofing agent is put into a composting vessel and transpiration of the p-dichlorobenzene serving as the main ingredient for controlling insect pests is suppressed to sustain insect- proofing effect for a long period of time.
