To maintain the quality of cereal grains for a long period of time and improve the transportation efficiency by placing an inner bag made of a flexible material inside the outer bag of high strength, filling the bag with cereal grains, replacing the air inside with carbon dioxide and storing the bag under sterilization condition.
An inner bag 10 which is flexible, made of a hot-melting type plastic with a carbon dioxide permeability of ≤6,300cc/m2.24hr.1atm is placed in the outer bag 12 of high strength and the inner bag 10 is filled with cereal grains such as wheat grains, then filled with carbon dioxide so that the carbon dioxide concentration of ≥40% may be maintained for more than 7 days and closed to store the grains in the state that insect pests are killed.
