PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insentive power supply service system wherein a power supply company pays back customers insentive charges corresponding to powers actually saved according to the request of the reduction of a power consumption from the power supply company in such a case that, when the power supply company can predict the shortage of the power according to a power demand forecast, the company meets he shortage by starting power generating equipment for a peak load or by requesting power savings to general users. SOLUTION: A power supply company predicts a load demand and, when the predicted load demand exceeds a power generated by present power generating equipment, calculates an insentive power charge, a cost for starting power generating equipment or a peak load, and/or a cost for buying a power from another power supply company. If it is decided that the insentive power charge is most economical, the company carries out the insentive power load control wherein the company asks customers for power savings and pays back the customers insentive charges corresponding to the saved powers.
