Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow appropriate opening of an air bag door, lightening, cost reduction, and improvement of a recycleability.
SOLUTION: An insert member 35 comprises a fixing member 36 made of a synthetic resin for connecting and supporting a peripheral part of the air bag door 15 to an air bag device 20, and a movable member 37 made of the synthetic resin stored movably inside the fixing member 36. The movable member 37 comprises a support panel 41 slidably abutting on the inner surface of the cylindrical fixing member 36, and a movable panel 42 hinged to the support panel 41 and fixed the back surfaces of door panels 15a and 15b. When the air bag device 20 presses an air bag 22, the movable member 37 lying at a first position can project from the fixing member 36 by a projection amount h and move to a second position at which the support panel 41 locks to the air bag device 20.
