PURPOSE: To improve the productivity of a sole and the degree of freedom of a design, and also, to obtain the sole having the slip preventing property by using an insert reinforcing member in which a design part and a rib or a plate, etc., are formed integrally.

CONSTITUTION: A design part inserted into a sole is an insert reinforcing member 1 formed integrally with other part, and also, the insert reinforcing member 1 is formed in a roughly sole shape by using a material whose rigidity is higher than that of the sole. In the outside peripheral edge part of the insert reinforcing member 1, a metallic mold inserting/holding piece part is formed, and also, in the inside of the outside peripheral edge part, an edge part is formed, and by providing continuously therewith, a design part 4 in which an arbitrary design is formed is placed in a desired part. Also, the design part 4 is formed by providing it continuously and integrally by a rib or a plate. In a part corresponding to the shank of the insert reinforcing member 1, a long fiber reinforcing thermoplastic synthetic resin plate in which a thermoplastic synthetic resin is a matrix is placed.
