PURPOSE: To provide an insert ring, which easily copes with different mounting screw diameter, hardly generate resin leakage and is of low production cost, and its production method.
CONSTITUTION: An insert ring 13 is embedded in the mounting hole of resin formed part so as to encircle the mounting hole as an insert member, is made of the metal sheet drawings formed to pot shape and is provided with a fall-off stopper part 14, in which the outer wall face of metal sheet curved to S shape is integrated to formed resin and a through hole of diameter (d) corresponding to mounting screw diameter in the bottom sheet part of pot shape. Further the insert rings 13 are structured so that an outer diameter D of fall-off stopper part and a height H vertical thereto are approximately same but a through hole (d) only is made of plural different kinds corresponding to a mounting screw diameter, the height H is formed, by a fixed dimension, larger than the height of mounting hole part of the resin formed part to be formed for insert.
