Objectives, which are convex lenses, and oculars, which are concave lenses, are fitted in two large and small spectacle frames differing in width, components for insertion into which shanks on both sides of one spectacle frame can be inserted are fitted to portions of shanks on both sides of the other spectacle frame, and they are combined to give functions of a telescope.
