Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion type connection unit having a function of checking whether a ground system functions normally in a receptacle to which the insertion type connection unit is connected.SOLUTION: An insertion type connection unit which is used while connected to a receptacle circuit having a voltage pole (L pole), a neutral pole (N pole) and an earth pole (E pole) has plug blades which are inserted in connection with plug reception pieces at the respective poles provided to the receptacle, a power supply circuit which is electrically connected to the plug blades and acquires driving power, an earthquake sensor unit which is supplied with power from the power supply circuit and detects quake of earthquake to output an output signal, a current generator for making current flow between the neutral pole and the earth pole in the receptacle circuit, a voltage measuring unit for measuring the voltage between the neutral pole and the earth pole, and an earth resistance calculator for calculating the earth resistance on the basis of the current generated from the current generator and the voltage measured by the voltage measuring unit.
