Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable an accurate operation in remote place by feeding liquid to a liquid motional muscle means from a liquid pumping means under control of a control means, the liquid motional muscle means expanding in radial direction and contracting in axial direction and by slanting a joint part in one direction by a steering cable. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic pump 12 is jointed to racks 40 and 50 by a pair of cables 26' and 28' in a control unit 18. When moving a joint part 16 to one direction, the knob 44 is rotated to move the rack 48. Upper steering cable 26' is pulled out so as to extend a balloon 32', compresses the hydraulic liquid inside of the hydraulic muscle pump 12-2 and presses the liquid up to a hydraulic motion muscle 14-2 through a conduit 36. When the hydraulic motion muscle 14-2 expands at most and transmits stretching force to the steering cable 26. The cable is stretched out to bend the joint part 16 of a bore scope 10 upward. As a hydraulic muscle pump 12-1 as well as a hydraulic motion muscle 14-1 opposite to the active face coming to a completely reversal state, resulting that the hydraulic muscle pump 12-1 is expanded at most and contracted and the hydraulic motion muscle 14-1 is stretched out at maximum.
