Abstract:
To provide an inspecting device for hold side wall structural members capable of easily and surely inspecting structural members and easy to be carried and housed to make it easy to come close to a high part of the hold side wall of a bulk carrier.
The inspecting device for hold side wall structural members is provided with a plurality of pipes 4 provided to pass through an upper ballast tank 22 from the upper deck 21 into the hold 23, a plurality of portable winches 2 provided on the upper deck, and a scaffold 1 suspended by the winches 2 through the pipes 4 in the condition wherein the scaffold 1 faces to the side wall structural member (a hold frame 14) of the hold.
