Abstract:
To enable the entire area of a punched piece to be inspected, even if the punching position is shifted, when the punched piece is provided from a large sheet.
Cards are provided by punching the sheet on which the same pictures are printed. The image of the card is read. The card is inspected by comparing the to-be-inspected card image with a reference image. The card reference image used for inspecting the card is larger than the card, and outwardly extends from a proper punching area by a margin width that exceeds the width of the allowed punching shift. The entire area of the card is inspected, even if the punching position is shifted, when the card is punched.
