Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection-cum-grout injection device of excellent operability and seismic resistance, for promptly measuring a cavity formed by ground subsidence beneath a bottom slab of a sluice, sluiceway, retaining wall, building or other large structure and for injecting and filling grout and other reinforcing material right away into the fragile cavity in the subsided ground, thereby stabilizing the large structure.SOLUTION: An inspection-cum-grout injection device comprises a protective sheath pipe 2 installed in a bottom slab of a civil engineering structure, a rod guide pipe 3 installed inside the protective sheath pipe 2, and an inspection rod-cum-grout injection pipe 4 installed in the rod guide pipe 3 and connected with a water cut-off sleeve 5 that is fitted in the protective sheath pipe 2 in a folded state and may be extended downward.
