Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of not displaying an additional pattern image superimposed on a print image when a user enlarges the print image a certain times or more when confirm an inspection result of the print image.SOLUTION: An inspection device inspects a print image on printed matter output from a printer which prints the image superimposing an image indicating additional information thereon. The inspection device includes: reading means for reading the print image; display means capable of displaying a part of the print image enlarged when displaying an inspection result of the read print image; and display control means for controlling not to display by the display means the image indicating the additional information included in the enlarged part of the print image displayed by the display means.
