To realize an excellent function for detecting a malfunction in a configuration in which a broadcast wave including program information is received and retransmitted to another device.SOLUTION: An inspection device used for satellite broadcasting includes a packet acquisition unit that acquires a broadcast packet from a broadcast wave, a packet generation unit that receives a transmission packet storing data of the broadcast packet included in the broadcast wave, and generates a broadcast packet from the received transmission packet, and a comparison unit that performs comparison processing for comparing the broadcast packet generated by the packet generation unit with the broadcast packet acquired by the packet acquisition unit as a reference packet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
