Abstract:
PURPOSE:To automate measuring operation and to improve operability in the dark by moving a laser transit by two motors automatically. CONSTITUTION:A surface plate 10 is fitted with a Z table 11 which is moved vertically by a motor 12 and an X table 13 which is moved horizontally by a motor 14. The laser transit 15 is fitted to the table 13 and a control part 16 is provided which calculates the shift from the outputs of a couple of optical position detectors 19 (191 and 192) of the attitude detector 18 provided on the surface plate 10. Then the origin O of the detector 191 is irradiated with laser light and its read values (X10, Y10) are read; and the laser light is projected on points A and -A to calculate the tilt angle theta1, and the shift d1 between the shift C1 of an X axis and the shift d1 of a Y axis are measured. Further, the tilt angle theta2 around the origin and the shifts C2 and d2 are found by the detector 192. Consequently, the output of the detector 191 is corrected with a specific expression and the output of the detector 192 is corrected with another specific expression to detect the correct attitude even if the couple of detectors shift.
