Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect various defects of the cylindrical body speedily by completing window determination on obtaining an expanded image and displaying a window when the image is inputted to a judging means. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical body 1 is rotated by rollers 3 and 4 through a driving circuit 17. A line sensor camera 6 outputs the signal SVD of the cylindrical body 1 with a trigger signal SRB outputted for the input of the line sensor video signal SVD from the circuit 17 and inputted to a window generating circuit 18 and a digital two-dimensional image converting storage circuit 22. The circuit 18 outputs a window generation completion signal SMK together with a window signal SWD. The circuit 22 outputs a video signal S'VD together with a freezing signal SFL. Consequently, a gate circuit 26 is gated with the signals S'VD and SWD and a video signal SMVD which has a previously set brightness level VWL is outputted. Therefore, the inspection effective image of the cylindrical body 1 is displayed on a monitor 29 and a judging circuit 27 decides whether or not the cylindrical body 1 is normal.
