PURPOSE: To simplify the fabrication of a jig, by inserting inspection pins into the holes of a metal plate corresponding to the through-holes of a printed circuit board.

CONSTITUTION: Photosensitive films 2 are laminated to the front and back surfaces of a metal plate etched by an etching solution and exposed by using a pattern film corresponding to the through-holes of a printed circuit board to be inspected while photosensitive films 2 corresponding to holes are removed and pitting is applied to form holes 3 corresponding to the through-holes to obtain a desired inspection jig A. In the next step. the jig A is placed on the printed circuit board 4 to be inspected and the inspection pins 5 of a general-purpose wiring inspection apparatus are contacted with the through-holes 6 of the board 4 through the holes 3 of the jig A to perform the inspection of the circuit pattern of the board 4.
