Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a power storage device, capable of improving yield, and a power storage device.SOLUTION: A method for inspecting a secondary battery 10 includes a one-wall inspection step of measuring the thickness of each one wall of short side walls 16 and long side walls 17, and determining whether or not the measured thickness is within a range of a value including an allowance for one wall. The method for inspecting a secondary battery 10 also includes a calculation inspection step of calculating the sum of thicknesses of the short side walls 16 facing each other and the sum of thicknesses of the long side walls 17 facing each other and determining whether or not each value of the obtained sums is within a range of a value including an allowance for a sum. The allowance for a sum is a value less than two times of the allowance for one wall.
