Abstract:
To provide an inspection system capable of automatically adjusting a reference image according to an apparatus configuration of an import destination when the reference image is imported while allowing a user to inspect the reference image without reregistering the reference image, and provide a control method for the inspection system, an inspection apparatus, and a program.SOLUTION: An inspection apparatus registers an image scanned from a print product printed by a printing apparatus as a first reference image, and registers information on a print job related to printing of the image with the image and first configuration information indicating configuration of the printing apparatus. In addition, the inspection apparatus imports the first reference image registered in the inspection apparatus and registers the image as a second reference image. Based on information on the print job registered with the first reference image, the first configuration information, and second configuration information indicating the configuration of the printing apparatus, a control is performed as to whether the first reference image is registered as the second reference image by reversing a front and back of the first reference image or as the second reference image without reversing the front and back of the first reference image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
