To provide an installation frame for a solar panel which is inexpensive, lightweight and easy to handle and in which a required work space can be easily secured at a lower side of the solar panel.
A substrate 3 is composed of a short column material 3a and a long column material 3b of different lengths and a connection material 3c connecting the short and long column materials. A support 5 bridges upper ends of both column materials 3a and 3b of the substrate 3. One end of the support 5 is mounted to the short column material 3a in a freely rotatable manner and the other end is fastened to the long column material 3b so as to be freely fixed/unfixed by a bolt/nut. A holding frame body F of a solar panel Sp is fixed to the support, a flange-shaped piece in a lower end of a temporary holding member 7 is meshed into an insertion part of the substrate 3, and the temporary holding member 7 is disposed while rising from the lower end to an upper end. The solar panel Sp is temporarily held higher than a normal installation angle together with the support 7 by a receiving part in the upper end of the temporary holding member 7, and a work space P is formed at a lower side of the solar panel Sp.
