PURPOSE: To provide an installation leg for a sheet metal-made pump casing by obviating necessity for increasing a plate thickness of the pump casing more than necessary in order to ensure rigidity thereof and necessity for providing a reinforcement member in order to reinforce the pump casing.

CONSTITUTION: An installation leg for a sheet metal-made pump casing is for supporting the almost cylindrical vessel-shaped sheet metal-made pump casing having a suction nozzle 3 in one side and also an opening part in the other side. The installation leg 20 provides a flange part 23 for fixing the pump casing 2 by holding a flange part 4, provided in an end part in a side of the opening part of the pump casing 2, with a counterside part of bearing housing 8 or the like and a leg part 24 extended downward from the flange part 23.
