Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of a cofferdam structure for use in a bridge pier repair and reinforcement construction which can easily construct the cofferdam structure on the water, and easily perform a lowering work of the cofferdam structure into the water.SOLUTION: A work floor 2 is installed at a non-submerged location of a bridge pier 1; a work platform 3 is installed on the work floor 2; utilizing the work platform 3, a cofferdam structure 4 is constructed on the work floor 2, the cofferdam structure being provided with a bottom having a through-hole section 5 through which the bridge pier 1 is penetratingly arranged, and being provided so as to surround the outer periphery of the bridge pier 1. A lowering guide 6 is installed in the bridge pier 1 and the cofferdam structure 4 to lower the cofferdam structure 4 in the water beneath the bridge via the lowering guide 6 with respect to the bridge pier 1; water in a clearance between the through-hole section 5 on the bottom of the cofferdam structure 4 and the outer periphery of the bridge pier 1 is cut off by water stopper means 7; and after the water cutoff is completed, water 8 entered in the cofferdam structure 4 is eliminated to set the inside of the cofferdam structure 4 as a dry area for work.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
