Abstract:

To provide an installation method for an elevator for roping a main rope easily and quickly when forming a shaft by piling up a plurality of blocks.

While a car 2 and a counterweight 3 are arranged at predetermined positions, they are incorporated into units 9, 10, respectively, the main rope 4 is cut to proper length, and intermediate parts of the main rope 4 are collected per predetermined length to equipment around which they are wound, respectively, and are temporarily put in a top part of the shaft 1. Consequently, it is unnecessary to change positions of the car 2 and the counterweight 3 after piling up the units 9 to 11, and the intermediate part of the main rope 4 is suspended and is wound around the equipment to perform roping of the main rope 4.
