To provide an installation method for a fluid transfer pipe and the fluid transfer pipe capable of being easily led in by decreasing the lead-in tension and side pressure of the fluid transfer pipe even when a bent portion exists at a buried pipeline in performing the lead-in and installation work of the fluid transfer pipe at an existing buried pipeline.
When the fluid transfer pipe 1 having a plastic layer and flexibility is led into the buried pipeline 40 and installed, the fluid transfer pipe 1 is led in and installed at the buried pipeline 40 in a state that the plastic layers 3, 6 are heated. The bending rigidity of the whole fluid transfer pipe 1 is decreased by heating the plastic layers 3, 6, and the buried pipeline 40 is not buckled at the bent portion thus smoothly performing installation work.
