Abstract:
To provide a drum brake device of an industrial vehicle which inhibits brake squeak during braking and enables smooth attachment of an axle to a vehicle body.SOLUTION: A drum brake device of an industrial vehicle includes: a brake drum 31 which may rotate in conjunction with rotation of a wheel; a brake shoe facing an inner peripheral surface 45 of the brake drum 31; and a cylinder mechanism which presses the brake shoe to the brake drum 31. The brake drum 31 includes: a drum plate part 41; a drum cylindrical part 42 connected to the drum plate part 41; a flange part 47 provided over the drum cylindrical part 42 in a circumferential direction; and cutout parts 49 provided at the flange part 47 and cut out to the radial center side. A radial depth D of the cutout 49 is smaller than a radial length H of the flange part 47.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
