Abstract:
To provide an installation structure for drifting wood catching body in which there is of course no need of large-scale work such as notching or rising a check dam 10, and that does not require a concrete foundation by realizing a structure that can support a drifting wood catching body 1 in a cantilevered state only by using the check dam 10, and that is superior in workability, economic efficiency and stability.SOLUTION: The present invention is an installation structure for a drifting wood catching body 1 with respect to a check dam 10, the installation structure being provided with a plurality of steel column members 2 each provided so as to project in a cantilevered state via a base member 3 that protrudes from an upstream lateral surface part of the check dam to the upstream side. As an example, the steel column member 2 is formed of the heads of a drifting wood catching prop (upstream vertical member) 2a and a downstream support prop (diagonal member) 2b that slopes forward on the upstream side being integrated by means of welding, the steel column member 2 being formed in an inverted U shape that opens toward the flowing direction of a river.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
