To effectively protect a door of a cabinet from waste heat by a method wherein a louver is installed between a cabinet and a refrigerator to escape waste heat from the refrigerator and a heat shielding plate is provided between the louver and the cabinet to keep the waste heat from hitting the door of the cabinet.
A cabinet 3 is previously fastened on a wall surface 2 and a door 4 so formed as to swing open out made of a natural wood is provided in front of the cabinet 3. A refrigerator 5 is installed below the cabinet 3. A louver 6 is provided between the refrigerator 5 and the cabinet 3 while a heat shielding plate 7 is provided between the top surface of the louver 6 and the bottom surface of the cabinet 3. As a result, when waste heat H from the refrigerator 5 rises by passing through a clearances S between the rear of the refrigerator 5 and a wall 2 to be escaped to the front side from the louver 6, the waste heat H is then escaped along the heat shielding plate 7. This allows the waste heat H to rise while avoiding the door 4 thereby preventing the surface of the door 4 from drying which eventually causes a cracking or the like.
