Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a vehicle awning capable of improving adhesion in the front end of an awning to improve both a water penetration preventing property into a load-carrying platform and a shape retention property of the awning.
SOLUTION: In this installation structure of the vehicle awning 16, a front end part of the awning 16 covering above the load-carrying platform provided behind a cabin 2 is installed to the rear of the cabin 2. A front end upper edge part 16a of the awning 16 is fixed into a roof drip rail recess part 10 formed in a rear upper part of the cabin 2 through an upper roof guide 17, front end both side edge parts 16b continuing from the front end upper edge part 16a of the awning 16 are engaged with side drip rail recess parts 11 formed in rear both side parts of the cabin 2 continuously from the roof drip rail recess part 10, and the whole area of the front end both side edge parts 16b is fixed into the side drip rail recess parts 11 through side guide members 20.
