Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation tool and an installation method of a wedge metal fitting for installing the wedge metal fitting in a taper metal fitting with constant strength, without generating a large sound such as a hitting sound.SOLUTION: A installation tool 10 is provided for fixing a wedge metal fitting 13 provided on one end of a pipe material 12 to a cross-sectional U-shaped taper metal fitting 11 provided in a side part of a temporary column 11a used in a civil engineering or construction site, and comprises: a fixture 15, in use, arranged in an upper position of the wedge metal fitting 13; fixing members 18 and 19 in pair rotatably provided on both sides of the fixture 15 and provided with hook parts 16 ans 17 to lower parts which are fixed to the lower end of the taper metal fitting 11; and fastening means 21 installed in the fixture 15 and pushing down a fastening metal fitting 20 abutting on an upper part of the wedge metal fitting 13 in a state of fixing the hook parts 16 and 17 in pair to the taper metal fitting 11.
