Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instantaneous voltage drop remedying device, including an instantaneous voltage drop detection circuit capable of immediately detecting any instantaneous voltage drop that occurs in a system power supply, before the operation of a load installed at an end of the system is interfered with.
SOLUTION: The instantaneous voltage drop remedying device detects any instantaneous voltage drop that occurs in a system power supply for supplying power to a load connected to a power system, supplies the load with the output voltage of a compensating voltage generating portion, based on the detection signal, and thereby compensates load voltage before the instantaneous voltage drop. In the instantaneous voltage drop remedying device, an instantaneous voltage drop detection circuit 10 that detects power supply input voltage VS, and outputs an detection signal M', indicating that instantaneous voltage drop occurring in the system power supply based on the power supply input voltage VS, is provided with a sensitivity adjusting circuit 11 that detects load voltage VL, calculates the rate [VS]/[VL] of the power supply input voltage VS to the load voltage VL, and makes it a sensitivity adjusting signal N.
