Title:
INSTRUMENT FOR CONFIRMING WALKING POSTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013165943
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an instrument for preventing a falling accident while walking that causes bone fracture, wherein the instrument maintains a correct walking posture such as swinging the arm, raising the toe, landing with the heel and preventing stumbling and also allows a wearer to confirm the posture.

Both ends of a pipe containing two balls 2 are closed and the pipe is arranged on the arm. The pipe is attached to a belt wound around the arm so that the pipe tilts forward and downward from horizontal at an optimum angle of 40-45 degrees with respect to the ground. When the arm is swung forward and is stopped, the balls 2 located at a rear lower end of the pipe hit a front upper wall due to the law of inertia and conveys collision sound and vibration to a wearer. The pipe attached to the side of a shoe also tilts forward and downward from horizontal at an optimum angle of 40-45 degrees with respect to the ground. When the wearer raises the toe of the shoe and lands with the heel in a correct walking posture, the balls 2 located at a front lower part of the pipe hit a rear wall and generate collision sound and vibration. With such instrument for confirming walking posture, the wearer can confirm the correct walking posture with sounds and vibrations.
