Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and accurately detect quenched condition of the inner surface of a cylindrical body by arranging a lighting system and a prism vertically shifted and freely rotatable at the center of the quenched inner surface of the cylindrical body.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of detecting the quenched part 3 after executing the quenching treatment to the inner surface 2 of the cylindrical body 1, a rotary encorder 25 and a rotating shaft 26 are fitted into a base on the cylindrical body 1 with a frame 23 so that these centers coincide with the center line of the inner surface 2 of the cylindrical body. On the base 4, a supporting table 6 rotated by centering the line coinciding with the center line of the inner surface 2 of the cylindrical body is arranged, and on this supporting table 6, an elevating table 13 fully rotated to the axial direction of the cylindrical body 1, the halogen lamp 21 lightening the quenched part 3 of the inner surface 2 of the cylindrical body and the prism 18 for changing the picture of the inner surface 2 of the cylindrical body into the vertical direction. The elevating means 13 and the prism 18 are vertically shifted and rotated at 360° angle and the quenched part 3 in the inner surface 2 of the cylindrical body can accurately be detected by accurately and freely adjusting the number of rotation with the rotary encorder 25.
