PURPOSE: To surely separate, decide and distinguish the looseness of a wire rod from a cutting-off and an end part by supporting a shaking bar with the wire rod from the lower part, in a device for feeding out the metal wire rod from a bobbin.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of feeding out to the following process by drawing out the metal wire 1 from the supplying bobbin 2, after passing the metal wire 1 on a guide bar 7, while supporting the shaking bar 9 supported with shaking arms 8, 8 from the lower part, the metal wire is drawn out to the outer part. When the wire rod 1 cuts off or becomes the end part, the shaking bar 9 is made to be impossible to support and the arm 8 for supporting the shaking bar is dropped and brought into contact with a limit switch 11 and a signal is transmitted to surely detect the cutting-off or the end part of the wire rod 1. In the case the wire rod 1 simply loosens, the shaking bar 9 is lowered but as this bar is supported with the wire rod 1 as usual and is not dropped, the arm 8 supporting the shaking bar 9 is not brought into contact with the limit switch 11 and the looseness of the wire rod is clearly distinguished from the cutting-off and the end part of the wire rod, and the malfunction caused by the cutting-off, etc., of the wire rod 1 is prevented.
