To provide an instrument device capable of improving visibility and appearance when both an image and a real object are moved in a display format in which the image and the real object are overlapped.
The instrument device includes: a display unit 1 for displaying an image comprising vehicle information; a display partition part 2c3 that is disposed on the front side of the display unit 1 and defines a display area of the display unit 1; a movement mechanism for moving the display partition part 2c3; and a control means that makes the movement mechanism move the display partition part 2c3 from a first position to a second position and makes the display unit 1 display an image so that the image moves corresponding to the movement of the display partition part 2c3, wherein, the control means makes the display unit 1 display an at least partly smudged image at a position shifted in a direction toward the original position of the image from a display position of the image when the image moves.
