To surely enable the measurement in two-dimension or three-dimension during actual working time by analyzing picture data related to the shape, deforming quantities, distribution of the deforming quantities and uneven deformation of a material to be heat-treated during the heat treatment.
The heat treatment is executed to the material 2 to be heat- treated set in the inner part of an atmosphere heating furnace 1 while controlling the atmosphere, and the material 2 to be heat-treated is monitored with a camera 6 from the outside through a peep hole 7 in the atmosphere heating furnace 1. In the monitored picture data, same points in the material among the reference picture data before heat treatment working and the measured objective data during the heat treatment working, are specified. Based on plural displacing quantities of these same points in the material, the deforming quantities, distribution of the deforming quantities and uneven deformation in the whole material to be heat-treated are calculated with the picture data analyzing device 8.
