Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and easily measure a flow characteristic in an air compressor.
SOLUTION: In this flow characteristic measuring device for an equipment for gas, a supply devide comprising an air pressure source 1, a pressure reducing valve 2 and an auxiliary tank 3 supplies the gas of a prescribed pressure to a supply valve 5. The gas from the supply valve 5 flows into an isothermal pressure container 6. Steel wool is packed in the pressure container 6. A pressure sensor 7 measures pressure of the pressure container 6. The flow characteristic of the supply valve 5 is calculated in a computer 10, based on a measured result of the pressure in the pressure container 6. The flow characteristic is an acoustic velocity conductance and a critical pressure ratio.
