Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a pressure drop of liquid relatively easily and accurately. SOLUTION: A liquid supply source containing a liquid to be subjected to pressure measurement is connected to liquid injection pipes 7 and 8. With the opening and closing valves 10 and 11 of the injection pipes 7 and 8 closed, a specified amount of liquid is introduced into the jacket 6 of a vertical pipe part 3. Then, a solenoid valve 15 is driven to clock a horizontal pipe part 3 and the liquid in the jacket 6 is discharged through the open end of the horizontal thin pipe. The pressure in the jacket 6 is set to, for example, approximately 8 kg/cm<2> by using a compressor (not illustrated). The jacket 6 is sealed, the solenoid valve 15 is opened, and pressure variation of the horizontal thin pipe 21 is inputted a read computer (not illustrated) to calculate a Reynold's number Re and a frictional resistance value (f) from Re=μρD/η and f=ΔPD/2Lρu<2> .
