Abstract:
To provide an instrument structure that can reduce impact that an occupant receives from a display upon the impact of a vehicle.
On a display shaft 56 supporting the display 12, an inner part of a cut 64 formed on the display shaft 56 is raised to form a stopper 62. While the stopper 62 abuts on one end face 54B of a bearing member 54, a sliding motion of the display shaft 56 to a vehicle front is regulated. In this state, when an impact load is input to the display 12, the stopper 62 falls down along an outer peripheral surface of the display shaft 56. As a result, the sliding motion of the display shaft 56 to the vehicle front is deregulated, and deformation of the stopper 62 causes impact energy due to the impact load to be absorbed.
