Abstract:
To provide an insulated container capable of accurately joining joint ends of an outer container and an inner container and also obtaining the well-finished joint ends.SOLUTION: In an insulated container 1, a metallic outer container 2 and an inner container 3 respectively having one open end are provided, the respective containers are mutually joined in a state where the inner container 3 is stored inside the outer container 2, and also a vacuum insulation layer 4 is arranged between the outer container 2 and the inner container 3. The insulated container comprises: an outer joint end 11 including an open end 2a of the outer container 2; and a curved part 14 obtained by bending an open end 3a of the inner container 3 downward while folding outward from an upper end of the inner container 3. The open end 3a of the inner container 3 is bent so as to allow an inner surface of the outer joint end 11 and an outer surface of the inner container 3 to be bought into non-contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
