Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation pipe excellent in thermal insulation properties and a superconductive cable including the heat insulation pipe.SOLUTION: The heat insulation pipe 1 includes; an internal pipe 10i; an external pipe 10o arranged to cover the outer circumference of the internal pipe 10i; a heat insulating material 11 arranged between the internal pipe 10i and the external pipe 10o; and a spacer 12 for keeping a space between the internal pipe 10i and the external pipe 10o. The spacer 12 includes: a plurality of ring bodies 12r arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the internal pipe 10i to surround the internal pipe 10i; and a string-like body 12b for keeping a space between the adjacent ring bodies 12r. As a result, the space can be kept between the internal pipe 10i and the external pipe 10o while making smaller the contact area of the spacer 12 with another constituent member of the heat insulation pipe 1, and heat intrusion can be reduced.
