PURPOSE: To facilitate welding joint of skeletons arranged as one continuous beam in the vertical direction of the side face and in one direction of the upper face, with lateral beams attached to these side faces and reduce the whole manufacturing cost of an insulated tank, in the hexahedron insulated tank constituted of a plurality of skeletons and outer plates.
CONSTITUTION: In a hexahedron insulated tank, a plurality of first main skeletons arranged as a continuous beam in the vertical direction of the side face 1a and in one direction of the upper face are made of square steel pipes 2. And lateral beams 4 are arranged as second main skeletons at the flat faces of the square steel pipes 2 in both horizontal and slanting directions between the first main skeletons to form the frame structure of insulated tank.
