Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain insulation quality between an entrance tube and a joint body when an insulation universal joint 10 is rotated in a state in which an inner peripheral surface of the entrance tube contacts the surface of a coating layer.SOLUTION: An insulation universal joint connects a first tube and a second tube to be rotatable around an axis under electric insulation. The insulation universal joint is provided with: a joint body having an engaging part which is arranged on one side in an axial direction to be engaged into an inner peripheral surface of the first tube, and a connection part which is arranged on the other side in the axial direction to be connected with the second tube; a seal part which is arranged in the engaging part to seal between engaging part and the inner peripheral surface of the first tube; a coupling member which rotatably couples the engaging part with the first tube; and a coating layer which is applied to the engaging part. The coating layer is provided with: an electric insulation coating layer located on the side of the engaging part; and a lubrication coating layer located on the opposite side of the engaging part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
