Abstract:
To provide an insulating material for a slot coil of a rotary electric machine, which can be manufactured to have a thin wall and an accurate shape, and to provide a molding method therefor.SOLUTION: A thermoplastic synthetic resin that has flowed into ear-like flanges 16, 16 from gates 173, 173 strikes facing walls 161, 161 of the ear-like flanges 16, 16, and changes a direction by 90 degrees to reduce an inflow speed and fill the ear-like flanges 16, 16 and long-side flanges 15, 15 with the thermoplastic synthetic resin. Thereafter, since thermoplastic synthetic resin flows into thin outer peripheral walls 131, 132 and a partition wall 133 at an optimum inflow speed, a flow of the thermoplastic synthetic resin is improved, making it possible to produce a smooth molded article with an accurate shape. That is, since the ear-like flanges 16, 16 and the long-side flanges 15, 15 function as runners, the thermoplastic synthetic resin smoothly flows into the thin outer peripheral walls 131, 132 and the partition wall 133.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
