Abstract:

To insulate and protect the exposed part of a conductor regardless of the form of a cable connection.

This insulating protective cover 10 is equipped with a resinous cover body 11, and a stopper 12 provided in the cover body 11. The cover body 11 is made into a shape of rectangular bellows that expand and contract longitudinally. The cover body 11 is bent in tubular form in the longitudinal direction as its axial direction, and is closed by abutting mutually against the other long sides by stoppers 12. The cover body 11 is provided with a rectangular thin part 16, which extends longitudinally and is thinner than the cover body 11. Each end 17 of the tube of the cover body 11 is throttled by the thin part 16, thereby making the diameter of the end 17 smaller than the diameter of the center 18 of the tube of the cover body 11.
