Abstract:
To mainly prevent deterioration of insulation performance due to gaps caused by deformation of the insulation material body.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a column insulation material 3 that insulates a metal stud having a C-shaped cross section. The column insulation material 3 includes: an insulation material body 21 made of an organic material and extending in the vertical direction Z along the stud, having a first portion 21a with a width that can be inserted and placed inside the stud from the opening of the stud opening to an indoor side 14; an opening locking portion 23 formed on a second portion 21b protruding from the stud of the insulation material body 21 toward the indoor side 14 so as to protrude to both sides of the opening of the stud, and can be locked to the stud in an insertion direction 22; and a backing portion 24 that is formed in the first portion 21a in the stud of the insulation material body 21 and abuts against the back surface of the stud.
